Wendi Rawson attended the Washoe County Republican Party Central Committee meeting, where she briefly introduced herself and shared why she is running.

The meeting provided an opportunity to connect with local party members and engage in meaningful conversation about the future of the community.

 This open-house style gathering brought neighbors, friends, and community members together for a relaxed, come-and-go conversation about the future of Sparks. Attendees connected, shared ideas, and talked honestly about the issues that matter most to our city.

Guests enjoyed pizza, wine, and beer while meeting others who care deeply about where Sparks is headed. The event reflected a people-driven campaign rooted in listening, collaboration, and putting residents first. Community input, concerns, and ideas helped inform and shape the ongoing vision for Sparks’ future.

This gathering was part of a monthly series held on the first Sunday of each month, with locations announced in advance.

Republican Women of Reno, invites candidates to participate in a Fashion Show Luncheon. A unique community event featuring female candidates from the 2026 election cycle. This program offers a refreshing alternative to traditional political forums, creating a relaxed and engaging environment for meaningful connection.

During the luncheon, candidates will be styled by Chico’s Fashion Show Director and showcase two to three curated outfits while a slideshow highlights their photos and biographies. The event allows attendees to get to know the candidates in a fun, approachable, and memorable way. Wendi looks forward to connecting with local women and sharing this special experience with the community.
